Soner Yurtseven acts as the Art Director at Ginger Joy Games, bringing with him a diverse background rooted in the ever-evolving realms of animation and CGI. With prior experience serving as Matchingham’s Art Director and CGI Supervisor to Netflix projects, Soner has witnessed firsthand the transformative power of technology in shaping the creative landscape.
His journey into the world of art began with a formal education in fine arts at university. However, it was Soner’s exploration into the technical aspects of animation production that truly ignited his passion for pushing the boundaries of artistic expression. According to Soner, transitioning from his early days as a technical director for animations and commercials to his current role as CGI Supervisor, each step has underscored the symbiotic relationship between artistry and technology.
He worked as a visual effects and CGI supervisor in Turkey’s leading visual effects companies. He took part as a VFX and CGI supervisor in many Netflix feature films and series projects. He produced CGI visuals for feature films and TV commercials with Krill Studios, the VFX company he founded. With over 20 years of experience, he has worked with many talented artists in small and large teams depending on the projects.
